Mission Statement

Snake Nation Press is committed to fostering the appreciation, reading, and writing of literature in all its myriad forms, and through publishing and participating in writing and arts programs for all ages and for the disadvantaged.  Snake Nation Press serves the community through publishing the best writing it can find and through literacy programs, readings and workshops, conferences and festivals, and through editing and critiquing services.

History

Snake Nation Press has been in existence since 1989 in Valdosta, Georgia.  It has been incorporated in the state of Georgia and has had Federal non-profit status since 1990. The Press has been active nationally and locally throughout its history, and publishes a Review, a poetry book, and a short story collection or novel every year.  Also the Press publishes two or more Georgia authors every year.
